Hi, I’m Richard
This isn’t about me
It’s about you
But when someone is standing beside you both, guiding one of the most intimate and meaningful moments of your life — it helps to know who they are.
The ceremony is where everything begins — and that’s where I come in.
I’ve spent my career shaping moments that matter — quietly, intentionally — on stage, behind the scenes, and alongside some of the world’s most respected individuals.
I began in London’s West End — including Phantom of the Opera — where I learned the power of presence, timing, and emotion. Lessons I now bring to every ceremony I lead.
Later, as Director of Communications for the Olympic governing body for equestrian sport, I helped shape global narratives across five continents, guiding occasions and experiences that truly resonated. During this time, I lived and worked in Switzerland for a decade — immersed in an international world where refinement, discretion, and quiet luxury were part of everyday life.
For several years, I also served within a Royal Household — leading communications and producing private and official events of the highest calibre, where precision, discretion, and warmth were paramount.
Along the way, I’ve worked within some of the world’s most iconic settings — from historic London hotels to private estates and royal residences — experiences that shaped my instinct for detail and discretion.
My work has taken me from London, Paris, and New York to Tokyo, Rio, and beyond — collaborating with leading creatives, producing award-winning experiences, and working with discerning clients in both public and private spheres.
Today, I bring that same depth, discretion, and instinct to my role as a celebrant — creating ceremonies for couples who value meaning, style, and story.
Based between the Cotswolds and London, I take on a select number of weddings each year, ensuring each ceremony is personal, poetic, and entirely bespoke. Designed with care. Shaped with the instinct of an artisan. Delivered with quiet confidence.
My background gives me an editorial eye, a global perspective, and a trusted network of collaborators — should you ever wish to draw upon them.
“ Richard - You kept us grounded, stopped us from crying too early, and made our guests believe we were actually that composed.
Thank you so much - same time, same place in 20 years for our renewal?”
